Step 2
CREATING THE DESIGN:
Download the PDF for the Mini Beads Mermaid and Seahorses Project Pattern. Assemble 12 mini beads pegboards as shown to create your project, placing them on one of the large pieces of cardboard on a heat-safe surface that you can later use for fusing. Cut out and tape together the pattern sections. Place your beads as shown.

Step 3
FUSING THE DESIGN: An adult should do this step.
Be sure your project is on a flat, heat-safe surface.

Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboards. In a circular motion, begin to iron the project. Do not press down with the iron. Beads need heat for about 10 seconds per side to fuse evenly. Depending on the size of the project, additional heating time may be required. When ironed properly, the beads will still have an open center. Let the design cool.

Carefully remove the paper and check for beads that are loose, if you find any, replace the paper and fuse those sections a little more. When you are satisfied with the fusing, place the other piece of cardboard over the design. NOTE: It might be helpful to have another person help with this next part. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Carefully remove the pegboards. Repeat step two. Let cool completely. Your pegboards and ironing paper are reusable.
