Step 2
Download the PDF for the Cupcake Party Project Pattern. You will use the cupcake pegboard to create your projects. Place your beads following the pattern.

Step 3
Ask an adult to fuse your designs. Place your pegboard on a flat, heat-safe surface. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboard. In a circular motion, begin to iron the project. When ironed properly, the beads will still have open centers. Let the design cool.

Step 4
Remove the paper and bead design from the pegboard. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat step two. Let cool completely. Once the design is cool, peel off the ironing paper. Your pegboards and ironing paper are reusable.

Note: Beads need heat for about 10-20 seconds per side to fuse evenly. Lift the paper occasionally to see how the beads are fusing. Additional heating time may be required.

Step 5
ASSEMBLY: Decorated Cupcake: Glue gems as desired across the frosting area of the cupcake for sparkle.

Step 6
Invitation: To make each invitation, choose 3 patterned papers and cut pieces to the following sizes:

Card base: 6 x 6 inches
Middle layer: 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches
Top layer: 5 x 5 inches
Create a title in your computer and print out. Trim it and glue it to the bottom of the card.

Glue your Perler cupcake in the center of the card.

Step 7
Party Favor: To make each party favor, cut a piece of fabric to 7 x 7 inches. Place it face down on the table.

Place candy in the center of the fabric.

Gather up the corners of the fabric and tie together with a piece of ribbon.

Glue a Perler cupcake inside the gathered fabric above the ribbon. Let dry completely.

Create tags with the names of the party guests in your computer and print out. Trim and glue to the ribbon.

Step 8
Gift Tote: Glue a cupcake on the front of the felt tote.

Glue 4 pink felt sushi spirals to the top edge of the bag.

Tie a piece of ribbon to one of the handles.
