Instructions
Step 1
Download/print the PDF for the project patterns. If you are using a clear pegboard, slide the actual-size pattern underneath it. Place your beads, following the patterns to make the pinecone components.
Step 2
You will also need:
String or bakerŐs twine (optional)
Step 3
Ask an adult to fuse your designs. Place your pegboard on a flat, heat-safe surface. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboard and bead design. In a circular motion, begin to iron the design. When ironed properly, the beads will still have open centers. Let the design cool.
Step 4
Remove the paper and bead design from the pegboard. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat the fusing. Let cool completely. Once the design is cool, peel off the ironing paper. Your pegboard and ironing paper are reusable.
Step 5
Follow the diagram on the pattern sheet to assemble the pinecone.
Step 6
Optional: To hang your pinecone, add a 6" length of string or bakerŐs twine through the top bead opening in the center stem.
