Step 1
Download/print the PDF for the project pattern. If you are using a clear pegboard, slide the actual-size pattern underneath it. Place your beads, following the pattern.

Step 2
You will also need:
Coordinating satin ribbon, 1/4" wide
Clear filament or 1/8" wide ribbon
Craft glue

Step 3
Ask an adult to fuse your designs. Place your pegboard on a flat, heat-safe surface. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboard and bead design. In a circular motion, begin to iron the design. When ironed properly, the beads will still have open centers. Let the design cool.

Step 4
Remove the paper and bead design from the pegboard. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat the fusing. Let cool completely. Once the design is cool, peel off the ironing paper. Your pegboard and ironing paper are reusable.

Note: Beads need heat for about 10-20 seconds per side to fuse evenly. Lift the paper occasionally to see how the beads are fusing. Additional heating time may be required.

Step 5
Hold the two candy canes so they are facing opposite directions. Stack them as shown in the image and glue them together.

Step 6
Cut a short length of the satin ribbon for each ornament. Tie into a small bow and glue to the front of the ornament.

Step 7
Cut a piece of filament or 1/8" ribbon to desired length to make a hanger for each ornament. Thread through one of the top holes in the ornament. Tie a knot and trim any excess.
