Sticky Note Booklet

Sticky Note Booklet

Stay organized with this handy booklet for sticky notes made with fuse beads and cardstock. Perfect for home or office!

Instructions

Step 1
Download/print the PDF for the project patterns. If you are using a clear pegboard, slide the actual-size patterns underneath it. Place your beads, following the patterns.

Step 2
You will also need:
Caribbean Sea textured cardstock, 12" x 12"
1" square hook & loop closure with self-adhesive backing
Scissors
Craft glue
Pencil
Ruler
Sticky notepads

Step 3
Ask an adult to fuse your design. Place your pegboard on a flat, heat-safe surface. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboard and bead design. In a circular motion, begin to iron the design. When ironed properly, the beads will still have open centers. Let the design cool. Note: Beads need heat for about 10-20 seconds per side to fuse evenly. Lift the paper occasionally to see how the beads are fusing. Additional heating time may be required.

Step 4
Remove the paper and bead design from the pegboard. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat the fusing. Let cool completely. Once the design is cool, peel off the ironing paper. Your pegboard and ironing paper are reusable.

Note: Beads need heat for about 10-20 seconds per side to fuse evenly. Lift the paper occasionally to see how the beads are fusing. Additional heating time may be required.

Step 5
Cut the cardstock in half to create two 6" x 12" pieces of cardstock. Trim one piece to 6" x 11" and the other piece to 6" x 2 _".

Step 6
Overlap the short ends and glue together forming one 13" length.

Step 7
With the smooth side of the cardstock facing up, position the cardstock so the overlapped section is to the left. Starting from the left edge, measure and mark vertical lines at 4 _", 5 _", 10", and 11". Score on each line and fold to create the booklet.

Step 8
Use craft glue to attach the bead designs for the front, flap, and sides to the booklet.

Step 9
Use a small amount of glue to attach the notepads inside the booklet.

Step 10
Secure the hook & loop closure pieces to the flap and front of the booklet.
