Step 1
Note: The required bead colors and the unicorn pegboard are in the Believe in Magic Activity Bucket.

Step 2
Download/print the PDF for the project patterns. Place your beads, following the patterns.

Step 3
You will also need:
Paper straw
Cardstock, 12" x 12", coordinating color
Craft glue
Ruler
Scissors

Step 4
Ask an adult to fuse your designs. Place your pegboard on a flat, heat-safe surface. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboard and bead design. In a circular motion, begin to iron the design. When ironed properly, the beads will still have open centers. Let the design cool.

Step 5
Remove the paper and the bead design from the pegboard. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat the fusing. Let cool completely. Once the design is cool, peel off the ironing paper. Your pegboard and ironing paper are reusable.

Note: Beads need heat for about 10-20 seconds per side to fuse evenly. Lift the paper occasionally to see how the beads are fusing. Additional heating time may be required.

Step 6
Trim the straw to measure 5 _" long, then refer to the image and the diagram on the pattern sheet to assemble the pieces.

Step 7
Cut a 1" x 10" strip from the cardstock. Overlap the short ends and secure with a small amount of craft glue to form a ring.

Step 8
Place the assembled bead design over the cardstock ring. You can use a small amount of craft glue to secure the base to the ring if desired.
