Instructions
Step 1
Download the project pattern and print card template. If you are using a clear pegboard, slide the actual-size pattern underneath it. Place your beads on the pegboard as shown.
Step 2
Place pegboard on flat, heat-safe surface. Set iron to medium. Place ironing paper over beads and pegboard. Using a circular motion, iron for about 10-20 seconds. Do not press down on the iron. When ironed properly, beads will still have an open center. Let cool.
Step 3
Remove ironing paper and bead design from pegboard. Flip design over to expose the non-fused side. Place ironing paper over design and iron again. To prevent bead design from warping, place a heavy book on design as it cools. Note: Do not place iron directly against beads or pegboard. Pegboard is not designed for use in any type of oven; it will warp. Pegboard and ironing paper are reusable.
Step 4
Ask an adult help you cut out the printed cards from the template and hot glue your fused Perler Bead hearts.
