Instructions
Step 1
Download/print the PDF for the project patterns. If you are using a clear pegboard, slide the actual-size patterns underneath it. Place your beads, following the patterns. For the watering can, you will need to connect the four pegboards together to form a large square.
Step 2
You will also need:
Coordinating embroidery thread or string, 3 yards
Craft glue
Scissors
Step 3
Ask an adult to fuse your design. General fusing instructions are included in the pegboard package. We recommend following the instructions in this link for fusing the watering can: https://perler-2.myshopify.com/blogs/projects/the-tape-method-for-fusing-large-projects
Step 4
Set aside 24" of the thread or string for the hanger. With the remaining thread or string, calculate the amount needed for each tool/flower set; measure twice the desired length plus 1" for knotting. Slide the thread or string through the beads of the tool and the flowers. Attach to the watering can. Tie the loose ends in a knot on the back side of the watering can and trim the excess.
Step 5
Follow the cording instructions on the pattern sheet to make a hanger from the 24" piece. Attach the hanger to the back of the watering can with craft glue.
Helpful tip: if the center opening closes during the ironing process, insert the closed tweezer tips into the opening and gently twist.
